Christmas crafts

We spent some time on Monday making some crafts. The kids each made a Christmas wreath to go on the front door. Tahlia's is at the front door and Nate wanted to put his on the side door. The kids had fun glueing and sticking Christmas paper onto the plates. Then we made some gingerbread men to hang around the place.

That evening we learnt that we were to be welcomed by a smiley face in the sky. It was the moon and jupiter and venus would make an apperance in the sky to be what looked like a smiley face. Nige was off at the gym and the kids in bed when l went to have a look.

There were some clouds in the sky but we had a perfect view of the smiley face from the back yard. So here l was in my pj's and wet hair (it was cold out there too) with my camera and taking a lot of photos at different times of the smiley face.

Around 8:20pm just as the sun was setting. The "eyes" or planets were further apart at this time and a bit harder to see.

At 8:45pm.
