Another busy week with Christmas Break up parties for the kids. When will they ever end. It's been a month of parties.

Nathan and playgroup friends.

Now the weather is warmer we have been enjoying the evenings outside. Nige has put up a basketball board and ring for the kids to play. Mind you it has been Nige and myself playing a game of shooting hoops (is that what they call it?) in the evenings when the kids are in bed. Will have to get a photo of the basketball ring.

The veggie patch is coming along nicely and Nige was able to get our first lot of carrots out the other evening. We also have zuchini, corn, beans, snow peas, strawberries, peas, lettuces ( a few different types) and tomatoes. I think that is everything..
Nige and the carrots.

Zuchini. If you look closely you can see a small zuchini growing. To the right of the water feeder.

Nige was home for 2 days this week and seeing he had the kids helping him paint the fence posts (for the side gates) l thought l would try my hand at making a Christmas Tree Log. Was very yummy and did not last very long in our house.
