Nate and Tahlia
This is what l have to do in order to get them both sitting still so l can take a photo. I think they are watching the Wiggles.
They both have been into the Wiggles lately and Tahlia gets so excited and says "Mummy look Iggles...".
She is a real character lately and her cheeky side is really coming out now. Some say she is just like me (thanks Anne..) I found her and Nige last night running around her toy broom and then jumping over. She had the giggles and kept loosing her balance and would fall on the floor in fits of giggles to jump back up and try again.
She is talking a lot now too and told me today on the way home from playgroup "Nayen (Nathan) is my brother" so clearly. She is funny as she calls herself Yahyah as she can't say Tahlia.
She is always on the go and loves to run everywhere, esp when you are trying to dress her, do her hair and telling her off. It is amusing watching Nige trying to tell her off, she just grins at him and he has to turn away as he can't keep a straight face.
Nathan and Tahlia love to play games together and they are either searching the house with the torch for dinosaurs or tumbling on their fold out sofas.
Nige has been attending the local gym about 3 nights a week now. Nathan came out the other day with Nige's towel, his fisher n price pullalong phone and stated " See ya mum l am off to the gym"...
We borrowed a "Playschool" Cd from the local library and it has been a hit in the car, everytime we get in the car Nate says " Turn the Usic on, l want to sing".. His favourite songs are "we're going on a bear hunt", "Take you driving in my car" and of course "l like peace, l like noise" he loves the part where it is loud and tells me " mummy like noise" and he is not wrong there.
He is funny, he found a dead lizard outside and put it in a unused pot plant box. Everytime he goes outside he has to run to the box and check that his lizard is still there.
We have had a few nice days lately, so instead of Nate having a nap (which he has been fighting) he has gone outside (to his delight) and played in his mound of dirt (digging for worms like daddy showed him in the veggie patch), or making a door out of the bricks down near the shed. His imagination is really coming out now.
He is very protective of Tahlia and it is so cute to see how much they adore each other. First person he has to see in the morning is Tahlia and it is "Hello" in this sweet little voice.
Cheeky girl.
Hope all is well and till next time (need to take more pics).
