This is a bit late.... sorry about that.
The rough terrain
Now its time to descend....
Down the hill with ease.
Nige just showing you just how steep it really was.
And so dry and in much need of rain.
Dad coming down the hill.
The dry creek bed, which l believe they climbed up or down (can't remember which).
The dry creek bed again.
Nature at its best.
Nige told me this is what they walked down.

Who needs the gym when you can climb mountains.
And now time to sit down and enjoy the view. Before it's time to turn around and head back to find that cafe we passed on the way here.
But it was a week where we spent some time outdoors in nature.
Nige went hiking with the gang on Anzac day while l stayed at home and looked after the kids. I told him when he returned that next time he will take the kids and me with him. Sounded like they had a good walk but was a challenge.
Didn't one person say they would go again but not if Nige was organisiing it. Of course that was a joke...
They went hiking up near Strath Creek (near Kinglake) and had a beautiful day for the hike. Lovely and 24C, (pity the rest of the weekend was cold and wet).
Let's begin....(please ensure you have some comfortable shoes on you and do not forget your snacks and a drink (water will do) also expect to be sore and tired after this little hike).
I believe it was very steep, in both climbing up hill and downhill. So it was with caution that you follow on with us. (l did warn you).
Have we tired you out yet? Or are you up for the challenge. I believe it got very hard at times, and very steep so if you are afraid of heights (its a great challenge to overcome them now) or best to sit and home with a good book.
Ok now we have had a rest and something to drink... et's continue....
Nige kept telling them to hurry up as he ran up the hill (so he says)...
Those who love a challenge and love hiking, and would love to come on the next hike or know somewhere good to hike... let us know.
