Let the school hol's begin

Everywhere that is undercover and warm is busy this week. Unless you are at the snow... Why! It is the 1st week of school holidays and mums and kids are all at the shops. Hence why we have not really been there.

Plus has been too wet and cold to go far. A good time as any to sit down with daddy and get him to read about 10 books one after the other. Not very often you get the kids sitting still like this. And yes l do mean all 3.

How ever Nathan must be getting bored with the holidays already and wants to go back to being a baby. We found him sitting in Tahlia's bouncer.

Tahlia is crawling around everywhere more and more and getting into everything that is in her reach. She also loves her food and will whinge if we are eating, and she isn't. But then she would not be our child if she did not like her food.
She is a delightful little girl and gets a lot of attention with those beautiful blue eyes., l am sure she will have the boys after her when she is older. And then Nige will be chasing them away from her.

She is also getting better at sitting on her own now, and loves her feet. It is quite funny to watch her sitting there holding her feet and either talking to her feet or whoever will listen.

We all joke and say she will be talking before Nathan does. Nathan is getting more interested in books, letters, numbers and colours. And is picking it all up very qucikly. Still trying to convince him that Tahlia is a "good girl" and not a boy.

We went and spent the morning with great-grandma (Great-gran) and had some photos taken of Tahlia on her little couch, of course Nate had to have his photo taken with his teddy bears and ran into his room and grabbed them. I must say l was surprised as usually he is so hard to get to sit still long enough to get a photo of him.

Here is Tahlia looking so cute.

And Nathan looking ever so handsome.

Thanks Nana for his Thomas jumper. He looks so cute in it and it was a hit with him. He loved it. Is a little big, but that is great as he can wear it for a longer period of time.

Great -gran and Tahlia

Great-gran brought out the keyboard and Nate had a ball playing it with G.G.

On Saturday it was a beautiful Winter morning and we took the kids down to Lilydale Lake for a walk and a play. Nathan was all rugged up in his overpants and gumboots and the first place he headed was the puddles in the car park, typical boy.

Then he fed the ducks down at the lake. It was funny as the 3 big ones were very greedy and would take the bread out of Nate's hand. But he did not even seem to mind nor was he frightened of them. He just thought it was funny. And Tahlia slept thru it all.

Then it was time for the boys to be boys and play on the slides and swings.

Tahlia finally woke.

And then to end the day off a nice warm bubble bath....

And my favourite of Tahlia
