Playgroup's morning at the Lake

Well the weather was perfect. A lovely 28C with a welcoming cool breeze.
Seeing the lake was in walking distance for us we walked down and met all the mums and kids from our Tuesday PG usually held at our church.

As soon as Nathan saw the park he was off and nothing could stop him. He saw his mate J down there and off they went together. Nathan is certainly hard to get good shots of him playing as he never sits still for long enough. But l did manage to get some and be proud of them.

This just shows how cute Nate can be when you capture him and he is still. There was another little girl on the see-saw with her grand-dad and Nate jumped on for the ride. As you can see it looks like he is enjoying it a lot.

Nate visits this park quite often and it is very popular for the families around this area. A nice big playground and it is used all year round. You never seem to have the park to yourself, even late at night! Well this is where we used to hang out in the evening with the Youth Group. lol

Another of Nate's favourites is the slide and he has no fear. As soon as he had the courage to go down he replied "again!" and off he went.

All this running around and playing sure makes all the kids hungry and Nate had to make sure his best mate J did not go hungry. And was making sure he ate everything with the helping hand of Nate. Just shows Nate caring nature. Wonder who he gets that from!

After a bite to eat it was time to feed the ducks, as soon as we got down there was a mad rush. No not the kids but the ducks. 3 big one were very greedy and rather agressive about it. You had to keep toes hidden if you wore sandals. But Nate was more interested in throwing sand to the ducks in the water.

Time was ending and it was time to go home. The caring side of Nate came out again as he walked hand in hand back to the cars with his mate J.

All in all a great day. Sure wore Nate out as he came home had lunch and then was soon asleep.
