Short but sweet (well Tahlia is.. sweet that is)

Another week at home but busy trying to get ready for our trip away to Adelaide which is coming up. The weather has been all over the place, either too warm outside for the kids or then back to cold. Ah you gotta love it.

Tahlia loves the swing we that we finally put up for her. Took her out and it was raining and cold but she had a ball. (we were under cover too).

Cheeky girl.

The face of innocence and look her hair is growing.

And look her hair is long enough for clips.... she has hair.....

hmmmm it seems to be a week of Tahlia. Nathan is either hiding from the camera or was at the Early Learning Centre he attends once day a week.

So stay tuned for more updates next week.

Let Summer Begin

Well almost.... it did reach temperatures warm enough to have the air con on this week. Also

Tahlia has reached another milestone and we have turned her seat around so she is forward facing. She loves it, and is always giggling away with Nathan. Her new word is BOO or BAA.... she loves playing peek a boo.

Here she is after her bath and first time to wear summer pj's.

Nathan loves to "help" and he now has a stool and can almost reach the kitchen bench. Here he is when l found him playing in the sink.

We got this lovely outfit from a friend Michelle and she looks so cute in it. I was worried she would never get to wear it. Thanks Shell.

While Nate is at the ELC Tahlia comes out to play. Here she is on the rocking horse. I think she is enjoying herself.

I am loving all this cute summery clothing Tahlia gets to wear. Isn't she cute.

After church on Sunday we had a picnic at the Dandenongs. Seeing it was nice and warm.

Then came home and Nate had a nap but slept in odd places.... (lol look at his bum up in the air)

Tahlia helping mummy with the washing.

Our roses are blooming.

And another first.... Ice cream in cones for the kids down at the lake.

Poor ol Beast

Well l am a bit late with this week's blog. Life here in our household is rather busy. Just typical everyday things to do.

Quiet Grand Final weekend and we watched Geelong thrash Port and what a good win for Geelong. Well deserved for them this year.

After the game the boys went out and mowed the grass.

Daddy's little helper.

Cheeky little boy.

We finally had some nice weather, so we had a morning craft session of painting. Nathan had a ball. But it was short lived as it soon grew cold and windy. So we had to come in.

Nathan painting.

Tahlia enjoying some Spring sun.

Nate hard at work.

The kids handprints.

Nathan had gone quiet one morning when l was cleaning, so to go and find out what he was up to. And he had found this hat. Nathan LOVES hats and once on his head no-one can take them off. Funny boy.

Nige also came home with a new car the other day. A 2003 Prado or also known as the "Beastette". It was time to upgrade poor "Beast".

So we have been busy trying to sell the Beast and also getting to know "beastette".

Other then that a quiet week.

A quiet week at home

Not much to share this week, school hol's are here so that means no play group. However Nathan still went to the ELC (Early Learning Centre) on Thursday and was so excited to go. I think he had been bored stuck at home and indoors.

The weather has been shocking and so cold. After a few weeks where some days were nice and sunny and the kids were able to spend some time outside. It went back to cold and freezing winds where no one wanted to venture out.
Nathan is doing really well in his big bed. The usual in and out till he settles but he sleeps all night in there and has no falls yet.

We did go and check on him before heading to bed ourselves the other night and this is what we found.

Yes he is asleep, well the second one he was waking up as he we were helping him back into bed. I am not sure how comfortable that really was for him. But it was funny.

Another night l went to check on him like at 3am and found him down the other end of the bed, still under the covers and all tucked in. Soon put him right and he snored his whole way through moving him..... Just like his dad!

Spent some of the weekend (in the freezing wind) re-painting Nate's chest of drawers. He has been living out of a laundry basket for the past few weeks. (well his clothes have). Should have them in his room by the end of the week.

And some of Tahlia. She is riding on my old rocking horse (yep from when l was a child). If you look closely you can see her top 2 teeth.

And that is the week, short and sweet.
